He is a founding executive council member of the Urban Land Institute-Philippines and Asia Society’s Young Leader.

He has degrees in Law, English Studies and Urban Planning from University of the Philippines and Master in Public Administration (Finance) from Harvard Kennedy School.

He received the Philippine Legion of Medal for his work in the peace process.

Dennis Wright is the President and Chief Executive of Peregrine Development International. He founded Peregrine following a highly successful career in both Government and Industry. Prior to forming Peregrine, he was a Vice President for KBR, the leading Engineering and Construction company in the U.S. and the 7th largest Defense Contractor. He was responsible for the development of all public sector market strategies, planning and analysis, business development, branding, advertising, communications and public relations for a $5B business segment. In January 2003, Dennis led KBR’s international strategic initiative to establish a new Middle East corporate office during the Iraq war and led the post‐war reconstruction efforts, including direct liaison with U.S. Reconstruction Offices. As Vice President of the new Mid‐East regional office he developed strategies supporting a $4B revenue base and captured over $2B in new work. He also served as Account Manager for U.S. Navy and Defense programs.

After creating Peregrine, Dennis won new work in the Kuwait, Iraq and throughout the Middle East creating a solid foundation for the new company. Dennis then led the company’s initiative to bring Busch Gardens and Sea World to Dubai to build the regions first major western branded theme parks. He then took the company to Southeast Asia where he conceived and secured the development of a 177 hectare green-field Logistics and Business Park in the Philippines valued in excess of $3.0 billion financed by a major Kuwait investment company. This project, in which Peregrine is the Prime Contractor and Developer, has captured international attention because of its magnitude as because it is the country’s single largest foreign direct real estate investment.

Dennis was a Captain in the U.S. Navy and a professional Logistician, where he advanced from Storekeeper, Line Officer, Supply Officer and culminating his career as Commander of one of the largest Defense Agencies in the DOD. He has conducted operations around the world, including residing in Japan for four years and being responsible for contingency operations in the Balkans, Philippines and the Middle East. He has extensive Joint Service and Acquisition Management experience, including Commander of the Defense Contract Management Agency (International) where he directed an organization of 1100 personnel with 57 offices in 23 countries and $70 million annual budget. He was directly responsible for administering over $30 billion in contracts on behalf of DOD, NASA and foreign governments with direct personal interface with American Embassies, NATO, foreign governments and foreign industry executives. He is well versed in all aspects of commercial and defense based acquisition and especially FAR, DFARs, DCAA and DCMA based contracts.

Dennis is an internationally recognized expert in strategic planning, sales and marketing, business development, acquisition and and contract management, program and financial management, life cycle operations, maintenance and logistics. He has extensive experience with multiple U. S. government agencies, foreign governments, embassies, industry and trade associations, and has amassed a solid record of success marketing, capturing new business, directing change and leading organizational transformation. He is frequently sought after to speak at government and industry meetings and is an accomplished author.

Dennis holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Acquisition Management. He is an NCMA Fellow and Certified Professional Contracts Manager and DAWIA Level III certified in Contracting by the DOD. Dr. Roberto F. de Ocampo, former Secretary of Finance of the Philippines, became the first Filipino to receive the most internationally prestigious award to Finance Ministers, the “Global Finance Minister of the Year” award from Euromoney in 1995. In 1996, Euromoney named him as Asian Finance Minister of the Year. In 1997, he was again recognized as Asian Finance Minister of the year, this time by Asiamoney. He is known nationally and internationally for public and international finance, having been Chairman of the APEC and ASEAN Finance Ministers (at the onset of the Asian Financial Crisis whose meetings he chaired that resulted in the landmark Manila Framework that prescribed the steps to exit the crisis) as well as member of the Boards of Governors of World Bank, IMF, and the ADB.  He was Secretary of Finance (1994-1998) during the presidency of Fidel V. Ramos, and was widely recognized as the principal architect of the resurgence of the Philippine economy whose achievement was hailed by the international finance community. Prior to these posts, he also served as Chairman and CEO of the Development Bank of the Philippines and led its rehabilitation such that it was recognized by the prestigious international Banker Magazine during his tenure as one of the “world’s soundest banks.”

He is the past president of the Asian Institute of Management having retired from that position in May 2006 and until recently was a member of the AIM Board of Trustees. At present he is the Chairman of the Philippine Veterans Bank and also Chairman of the Board of Advisers of the RFO Center for Public Finance & Regional Economic Cooperation, which is an ADB Regional Knowledge Hub.

Dr. de Ocampo is a recipient of many international and national honors. In September 2001, he was named to the Ordre National de la Legion d’ Honneur by the Republic of France with the rank of Chevalier for his successful efforts and initiatives to promote closer Philippine-France relations. On the occasion of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, he was conferred by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his outstanding efforts in promoting Philippine-UK relations during his years in public service and more recently in his capacity as Chairman of the British Alumni Association. He has also been awarded the Philippine Legion of Honor, the highest honor conferred on Filipino civilians by the Republic of the Philippines in 1998 for his outstanding contributions to the country. He is one of the first ASEAN members of the Trilateral Commission, an international think-tank of distinguished global leaders and was also the first recipient of the Man of the Year Award from the Association of Development Finance Institutions of Asia Pacific (ADFIAP).  He is a founding Partner of a Global Advisory Group (Centennial Group) based in Washington D.C. and is a Founding Director of a recently established Global Economic Forum: The Emerging Markets Forum. Dr. de Ocampo, who was the 1975 Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) awardee in the field of National Economic Development for pioneering the Philippine rural electrification program, had been cited as one of the 500 Great Asians in 2001 and a recipient of several Baron’s Who’s Who awards.  In 2004, he was elected to the Board of Advisors of the Conference Board, one of the world’s leading authorities in international business economics (based in New York).   In 2006, Dr. de Ocampo was conferred with the Asian Human Resources Development Award by the Asia HRD Congress.  

Dr. de Ocampo is a product of both De La Salle (grade school and high school) and Ateneo Universities. He received his MBA from the University of Michigan, a post-graduate diploma from the London School of Economics and has been conferred four Doctorates (Honoris Causa) by the De La Salle University in Business Administration, by the University of Angeles City in Public Administration, by the Philippine Women’s University in Laws, and by the San Beda College in Humane Letters.

Architect and Urban Planner Felino “Jun” Palafox Jr. has 40 years of experience in architecture and 38 years in planning. He was educated in Christ the King Seminary, University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines and Harvard University. A registered APEC Architect, he founded Palafox Associates, the world-renowned architectural design and planning firm in the Philippines in 1989.

He led and managed his firm Palafox Associates in the planning of more than 14 billion square meters of land and the design and architecture of more than eight million square meters of building floor area in 37 countries. The firm has also received more than 200 awards and recognitions in the past 24 years, most notably as the first Filipino architectural firm included in the Top 500 Architectural Firms in the World of the London-based World Architecture Magazine in 1999, the only Southeast Asian architectural firm included in the list. For 2012, Palafox Associates ranks 89th in the list of the world’s largest practices and Top 8 in Leisure projects.

Palafox Associates became the first and only architectural, urban planning, interior design, and environmental design firm certified by TUV of Germany for Quality and Environmental Management Systems. BCI Asia has awarded Palafox Associates BCI Asia’s Market Leader in Architecture in the Philippines for nine consecutive years, from 2005 to 2013.

Arch. Palafox has been a recipient of several local and international awards. He is the first architect-urban planner president of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) in 2011 and president of the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) for 2013 and 2014. He is a Fellow of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP). Palafox is an international associate/member of international organizations like the American Institute of Architects (AIA), U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU), American Planning Association (APA) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is the Country Representative for the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH).

On July 1, 2013, CTBUH headquartered in Chicago has elected Architect Palafox as one of its two new Fellows worldwide this year. Architect Palafox was also cited by Forbes Asia Magazine as one of the 48 Heroes of Philanthropy in Asia, one of four in the Philippines.

Last June, he guest lectured on Smart Cities of the Future in Berlin, Germany. He also attended Conferences on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat in London, Urban Land and Real Estate Trends in San Diego, California and ICSC best practices in Las Vegas.

Last July, he went back to Harvard for the seventh time for his continuing education. This time on Master Planning and Sustainability.

Jeff Amiri is ARINC Asia Pacific’s General Manager for Aviation, Security and Transportation, Systems Solutions. He is responsible for overseeing and leading all of the company’s aviation, security and transportation projects in the Asia Pacific region, as well as realizing the company’s long term strategy of expansion into the global airport business by leveraging on his experience in airport project engineering and marketing.

Jeff has over 30 years of experience in project management and systems integration, systems engineering and P&L management. During that time, he assumed various roles in engineering management, project management and headed a division that managed large and complex airport integration projects in Asia Pacific.

Jeff is experienced in the management of large airport IT projects in the areas of hardware, software development and systems integration. Jeff’s team in Asia Pacific is responsible for the timely delivery of projects, cost management, system integration, operation and maintenance and managing the P&L for all airports in Asia Pacific Region.

Prior to rejoining ARINC, Jeff held responsibilities as a Project Director and Chief Systems Engineer. He was also a CEO of a consultancy firm where he led the team in the overall profitability and technical design, development and deployment of Airport Information Technology Systems worldwide.

Jeff joined ARINC in August 2000 as Project Manager for ARINC’s Airport System in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was responsible for the overall technical and commercial design and delivery for both national and international projects. He joined ARINC Asia Pacific on January 2003.

Rene Philip Banzon has an airline industry career spanning 28 years. He started with flag-carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) in 1986 and has worked under the Maintenance & Engineering Department, Flight Operations, entered a 3-year Management Training Program, and was assigned to Sales and Marketing. His last job with PAL was as Product Manager for the U.S. and Northeast Asia routes. In 1996, he then joined the Transnational Diversified Group handling the General Sales Agencies for Asiana Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Austrian Air, and Virgin Atlantic working his way up to the position of Managing Director until he left in 2009 to join Cebu Pacific. He was hired to represent the airline in their Joint Venture with Singapore Airlines Engineering Company to put up Clark-based Singapore Airlines Engineering Philippines (SIAEP). He holds the position of Deputy General Manager. SIAEP is an aircraft Maintenance, Repair, ad Overhaul (MRO) facility that is certified to do light-to-heavy maintenance repairs for the Airbus A320 family of aircraft with its 2 hangars in operation. A third hangar is scheduled to open in June 2014 which can accommodate an A330 or B777 widebody together with two narrowbodies in the same hangar with closed doors.
